From 1.8.x to 1.9.0

BREAKING CHANGES:

  • SECRET_KEY environment variable is now required (no default)
  • AUTOMATION_TOKEN environment variable is now required (no default)

Required Actions:

  1. Generate a secure SECRET_KEY:

  2. Generate a secure AUTOMATION_TOKEN:
    python -c 'import secrets; print(secrets.token_urlsafe(32))'

  3. Add both to your .env file:
    SECRET_KEY=<your-generated-secret-key>
    AUTOMATION_TOKEN=<your-generated-automation-token>

  4. Update requirements:
    pip install -r requirements.txt --upgrade
